Here are some smaller projects I’ve worked on, challenging myself to explore new media and processes.
Bananas For You: 3D Animation
I conceptualized and animated this animation. During the process of creating this animation I learned how to storyboard for short films, and how to use Maya. I modeled, rigged, lit, and animated the set and characters in Maya, and added sound, titles, and credits in After Effects. Fall 2020.
Zoom Filter Activity
I created this zoom filter as a way to encourage zoom participants to work together and interact through the screen. Participants collaborate to express themselves and connect to each other by creating different rainbow configurations across the digital space. Spring 2021.
Collaborative Sustainability Posters
I designed this poster set with two of my peers as a collaborative exercise to show the impact of collective action. Each participant was instructed to rotate and then color, from a predetermined gradient, 10 gray squares. In doing so, the participants altered the legibility of the poster while creating a collaborative work. Each small action had very little impact, but altogether the effect is clear, much like sustainability efforts today which require many participants to contribute small actions. Spring 2021.

Quarantine Song Collection Project
During the Spring and Summer of 2020 I collected songs that my friends shared on their instagram stories into a Spotify playlist which I called “insta recs”. Many of these songs seemed to reflect poignant sentiments at the time. This booklet takes the songs and interprets them through my own experience the past few months, creating a physical playlist/scrapbook that tells a narrative through song titles.
