Good Dog Training is a growing dog training business specializing in games-based training. They came to me looking to establish a brand identity with a logo and brand guidelines.
After going over my client’s responses to my brand positioning survey, and doing research into the dog training industry, I began to iterate on logo ideas. My client had specifically expressed interest in the imagery of a “play-bow”.
I worked with my client to gain an understanding of Good Dog Training’s personality. From there I explored how to best represent this personality visually.
After completing many type and color studies to find the typefaces and palette that worked best to capture Good Dog Training’s playful yet calm identity, I fine-tuned Good Dog Training’s logo and wordmark, and finalized Good Dog Training’s brand identity.
Using the newly developed brand guidelines, I created business cards for my client.
